Hello! I am the owner of Elearning Evangelist LLC. The idea for my business came from my desire to use the experiences that I have had from my years working as an Instructional Systems Designer in the federal government and the experiences I have had as an educator and curriculum developer in the private sector.

In the federal sector I was a training lead. I designed, developed, and delivered content for training in support of projects that implemented human resource information systems and learning management systems. In the private sector I was an educator. I utilized instructional systems design practices to design, develop, and deliver content and curricula for online courses. In both instances my use of reliable industry standard collaboration tools and instructional strategies contributed to successful outcomes.

So how did I come up with the name of my company? Well … in many instances my colleagues whether they were SMEs or faculty members were unaware of the flexibilities and scalability that emerging technologies offered instructional designers. So … to get the word out I would show and tell how these new technologies effectively supported the rapid development and delivery of content. As you might have guessed … it wasn’t long before I became known as one of those elearning evangelists!!! I embraced it and used it to define my business!
